Professional possibilities
The Professionale range of extractor hoods is marked by its increased productivity, reliability and high performance. These models use the latest in filtration and air conduction technology: a motor with more power, steel grease filter-deflectors, LED lighting and Soft Touch controls.
High suction power
This hood model uses a high-efficiency motor which provides suction power equivalent to 1,000 cubic metres per hour. Power measurements are taken at a distance of 1.3 metres from the exhaust vent, taking into account the 90° bend in the air vent, when the appliance is working at full power, all in accordance with IEC/EN 61591 international regulations.
Steel grease filter-deflector
This is a high-efficiency grease filter used in professional equipment. Grease is separated out from the steam thanks to the special U-shaped construction of the filter's air ducts. Steam which reaches the filter leaves the grease particles that were in it behind on the filter walls thanks to the sharp bends in the air duct's shape. Such filters can be cleaned in a dishwasher. These kinds of filter come equipped with a special system of locks which ensures that they are attached securely to the appliance, and also that they can be removed from the extractor hood with ease.
Soft Touch buttons
This is a next-generation control panel. The buttons contain a sensor membrane and have LED backlighting. Thanks to this, Soft Touch controls have a wide range of functions: selecting an intensive work setting, a timer, and a contamination indicator for the corner and the metal filters.
LED lighting
LED lamps consume minimal electrical energy: only 1.5 W per lamp, but at the same time they provide bright and even lighting.
Auto switch-off timer
This activates the setting whereby the extractor hood will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.
Filter contamination indicator
It performs a dual role: one indicator tells you that the carbon filter must be replaced, and the other tells you that the grease filter must be cleaned. The timely replacement and cleaning of the filters are important for the appliance to function properly.
Intensive mode
This increases the motor's speed for 10 minutes, after which time the extractor hood automatically switches to speed 3. This setting is particularly effective during or after intensive cooking.
Clean air
This is an automated setting which turns the extractor hood on for 10 minutes, at minimum speed, every hour. In so doing it provides your kitchen with a constant supply of clean air.
Air valve
All Freggia extractor hoods come fitted with an air valve which prevents polluted air in the central air duct from getting back into the kitchen.
